Tell us what you need to pack
The quickest route to a useful quote is a short message with the fill weight, the bag size if you already know it, and a rough quantity. If you are not sure about any of those, describe the product and we will work from there.

Five details that turn an enquiry into a quote
You do not need all five. You will get a usable answer faster if you have most of them, and a firm price if you have all of them.
What is going inside
The product decides the fabric weight and the lamination. Fertilizer, resin granules and fine mineral powder all pull different choices out of us, and a bag that suits one will disappoint you on another.
Fill weight and bag size
Give us the weight per bag, and the width and length if you know them. If you are replacing a bag you already buy, the simplest thing is to send one through and let us measure it.
Printing
Plain, one colour, or full artwork. Say whether you need Sinhala or Tamil on the panel and whether the design is fixed or still open to suggestions. We will tell you if the artwork is going to be a problem at print size.
Volume and rhythm
A one-off order and a monthly drawdown are quoted differently. If you expect regular volumes, mention it at the start and we can talk about holding plain stock for you.
Where it has to go
Delivery town, or the port if the consignment is for export. It changes the packing, the pallet height and sometimes the bag itself, particularly if the sacks will sit in a container for weeks.
Any paperwork your buyer needs
If a standard or a certificate has to be satisfied, say so now. It is far easier to build that into the specification than to discover it when the goods are at the port.
How your order reaches you
Where the sacks are going changes how we pack them, so it is worth settling this at the quotation stage rather than the day before dispatch.
Road delivery
Pallets are shrink-wrapped and strapped for the road. Tell us the delivery town, and tell us whether there is a forklift at the other end. A pallet that cannot be lifted has to be broken down by hand, and it is a long job with 500 sacks on it.
Collection from the factory
If you would rather send your own vehicle, we will quote ex-works. Check your bed length against the pallet count before you set off, and say so if you would prefer the load built loose rather than palletised.
Export consignments
For containers we palletise to the height you need and load to suit. Give us the destination port and the volume and we will quote ex-works or FOB, so the figure can be compared against your current supplier on identical terms.
Staged releases
If you buy in volume but warehouse in a small building, we can hold finished stock and release it in stages. It is a normal arrangement for regular customers and it removes one order cycle from your year.
If something arrives that is not right
Tell us early, and send photographs with the batch reference if you have one. We retain a sample from every completed run, which means a complaint can be answered by comparing what you received against what we approved rather than by comparing two people's memories of a conversation.
The sooner we know, the more options there are. A colour that has drifted slightly is a production question for the next run. The same colour discovered after a full container has been loaded and shipped is a much harder problem for everybody involved.
We are not going to pretend mistakes never happen. What we will do is treat a complaint as a specification problem to be solved rather than a negotiation to be won, and in our experience that is quicker and cheaper for both sides.

If something in your message is ambiguous, we will come back rather than guess. One short question now is worth more than a revised quotation later.

You get a written quotation
Bag size, fabric weight, construction, lamination, print, closure, quantity and lead time, itemised so you can see which line is costing you what.

Sample or proof
A physical sack for plain stock, or artwork on the actual fabric for a printed job. This is the stage worth taking seriously, because it is the last cheap point to change your mind.

Approval, production, delivery
Once you approve, the lead time starts and we give you a completion date. You will hear from us before that date, not after it.
Ordering questions, answered plainly
How quickly will I get a price?
If your message includes the fill weight, the bag size and a rough quantity, most quotes go out the same working day. Requests for a new printed design take a little longer because we cost the plates at the same time.
Can you quote from a sample bag instead of a specification?
Yes, and for most customers it is faster. Send one sack through and we will measure the fabric weight, weave, dimensions, closure and print colours, then quote like for like. Mention whether you want an exact match or a cheaper alternative.
Do you have a minimum quantity?
100 sacks for plain unprinted stock, 500 for a new printed design. Repeat printed runs can go smaller, because the plates already exist.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Tell us when you enquire and we will quote ex-works. Bring a vehicle that can take the pallet height you order, or ask us to load loose instead.
What payment terms do you offer?
New accounts are typically on advance payment for the first order. Once we have a trading history together, terms are something we are glad to discuss.
Can I get a sample before I commit to a run?
Yes, and we would rather you did. For plain stock we can send a sample sack straight away. For a printed job you get a proof on the actual fabric before the press runs, so you can see how the artwork behaves on a weave rather than on a screen.
Do you hold stock for repeat customers?
We do, and it is often the single most useful thing we offer. Rather than buying a large run and warehousing it yourself, you can leave plain sacks on our floor and draw them down as your filling line needs them. Ask about it when you place your second order.
How many sacks fit on a pallet?
It depends entirely on the bag size and the fill weight, because a pallet of empty sacks and a pallet of filled ones are completely different loads. Tell us whether you need the sacks delivered empty or filled and we will give you the pallet count, the height and the weight per pallet.
Do you supply plain sacks as well as printed ones?
Yes, and they are a large part of what we make. Plain stock can ship in three to five working days and starts at 100 sacks. It is also the sensible thing to hold on the floor while a printed design is being approved.
We are changing supplier and the current bags have a problem we want to fix. Can you help?
That is most of the conversations we have, and it is easier than it sounds. Send us a bag that has failed, or a photograph of how it failed, and describe what happens to it between filling and delivery. The failure pattern usually tells us which of the six specification numbers is wrong before we have measured anything.
